Here, NIQUA combines the best of two worlds: German engineering expertise and Swiss precision. The Swiss facilities produce high-quality precision tools for stone setting and jewellery making, crafted with state-of-the-art technology and the utmost artisanal care.

 

A major milestone came in 2014, when NIQUA acquired the burr, drill, and beading tool production for the jewellery industry from the renowned company Maillefer. The production was relocated to a new, modern building at the same site – retaining the original production machines and the same experienced team of experts – and continued under the newly established Swiss company N&N Swiss Burs.

 

As part of this transition, the historic Maillefer Jewellery brand was evolved into SUPER Q by NIQUA. Through continuous innovation, product optimisation, and growth, NIQUA was able to expand its Swiss operations in Ballaigues and establish an additional production site in Vallorbe.
